New Home Foundations GROUND-UP CUSTOM HOMES · SLAB-ON-GRADE & RAISED · ENGINEER-STAMPED PLANS

A custom home foundation built to your engineer's plans, not a generic template.

Every ground-up home foundation we pour starts with your structural engineer's stamped plans and your soil report — excavation, forming, rebar placement and the pour, scheduled to keep framing moving right behind it. Most clients book foundation and framing together with us — see Home & ADU Framing for that combined option.

Built For Your Specific Lot

No two new-home lots pour the same foundation.

A custom home foundation has to account for your specific parcel's soil report, grading and drainage conditions, plus whatever combination of slab-on-grade and raised (stem wall) foundation your engineer specified for the design. We start every new-home project by confirming your approved plans and soil report against the actual site conditions, then build to that — not a template adjusted after the fact.

What's Included

New home foundation work, scoped to your build.

Full Ground-Up Foundation Construction

Excavation, forming, rebar placement and pour for a complete custom home foundation, built to your engineer's stamped plans.

Slab-On-Grade Foundations

Single-pour concrete slab foundations for sites and designs where soil conditions call for a straightforward slab rather than a raised foundation.

Raised (Stem Wall) Foundations

Crawlspace-creating stem wall foundations for sites where drainage, soil conditions or local code make a raised foundation the better — or required — choice.

Engineered Design Coordination

We work directly with your architect and structural engineer so the foundation that gets poured matches exactly what got approved at plan check.

Inspection & Framing Handoff

We coordinate the city foundation inspection and hand off a cured, documented foundation ready for framing to start immediately — often our own crew, on our own schedule.

Why It Matters

Most build-schedule delays trace back to the foundation.

A foundation crew that doesn't coordinate with your engineer, your soil report or your build schedule turns into the bottleneck every other trade is waiting on. Twenty-five-plus years of pouring Bay Area foundations means we know how to read a soil report and a stamped plan set correctly the first time — and when you book us for framing too, there's no second contractor's availability to wait on.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask us

For most projects you'll already have a structural engineer as part of your design team, and we build to their stamped plans and your soil report. If you don't have one yet, we can point you to engineers we work with regularly — but we don't pour without engineered plans behind the design.

That's determined by your soil report, site grading and your structural engineer's design — not a preference call. We build to whichever your stamped plans specify, and can walk you through the tradeoffs if you're still finalizing your design.

It depends heavily on lot size, grading and foundation type — a straightforward slab moves much faster than a full custom home foundation with extensive grading. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we've reviewed your specific plans and site.

We coordinate the city foundation inspection as part of the project and handle any corrections directly — that's part of the scope, not a separate line item you have to chase down yourself.

Both. Some homeowners bring us in directly before hiring a GC; others are referred by a general contractor or architect who wants a foundation sub they can hand a stamped plan set to and trust.
